A modern design of the 17th century Claddagh ring. The Claddagh ring has 3 symbols, starting from the top: the crown for loyalty; the heart for love; and the hands for friendship. 

Each ring can be worn separately or as a set. Folklore has it that if you wear the heart pointing toward you, it means your heart is taken. If it points outwards, the wearer is open to love and not in a relationship. What way would you wear yours?
